Introduction

Lord Vishnu is the preserver of the universe and part of the Hindu Trinity – Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh. He is the god of protection, preservation, and dharma restoration. It is believed that he returns to the earth in troubled times to restore the balance of good and evil. There are myriad ways to worship the supreme power that governs the entire universe. Out of the countless sacred verses dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the Vishnu Sahasranama is the most significant and powerful Stotra / Prayer to get blessings of Lord Vishnu.
